Shabbat School Teachers Needed: every Shabbat

We are in need of Shabbat school teachers! Teams of two people teach one week per month. We provide supplies and materials. Please see either Val or Rabbri if interested and available.

Weekly Morning of Prayer: MONDAY, August 21 at 11:00am

The weekly prayer is now at the home of Doris Benoit every Monday at 11 am till about 12:30 pm. The effective prayers of the righteous AVAIL MUCH! Every Monday morning we will gather for a time of prayer. Doris' address is Fogarty Manor, 214 Roosevelt avenue, Apt. # 1001(floor 10) in Pawtucket. Please send your prayer requests to prayers@mishkahndavid.org, and they will be prayed for.

A Study On the Book Of Isaiah: Tuesday, August 22 at 6:30pm

Judy Izzi-Budal and Paul Morse are hosting this BI-WEEKLY study on the book of Isaiah at Judy's home - Westfield Lofts-230 Dexter St-Providence, RI. Their next meeting will take place on Tuesday, August 22 at 6:30 pm. Please email Judy at j.izzi@verizon.net for details and directions to her apartment.

Shabbat Candles On the Beach!: Friday, August 25 at 3:00pm

WEATHER PERMITTING, Becky and Stephen are hosting Shabbat Candles at Connimicut Point Beach on Friday, August 25. We will be there from about 3 PM till whenever.... We will have Challah, the fruit of the vine, and assorted cheeses and fruits. Let's praise Him with music, so please bring instruments. There is a beautiful playground for the kids. An RSVP is helpful, but not necessary at 401-481-2596 or lollysdollys@mail.com. Come if you can. The only hard and fast rule is that we fellowship one with another, right? If you can, please bring some cheese and/or fruit. If the weather looks bad, check with Becky before coming. Also....We are meeting at the beach for the eclipse Monday, Aug 21 at noonish to watch it and pray for the country. Bring lunchtime snacks and chair or blanket.

Chavurah Home Fellowship: THURSDAY, August 24 at 7:00pm

DAY CHANGE JUST THIS ONCE: Our Ashland Chavurah home fellowship meetings will continue on THURSDAY night, August 24 at 7:00pm, 10 Rosebay Drive, Ashland, MA, at the home of Elena Ghilani. There will be worship, prayer, sharing, food and fellowship! We will watch episode 4 (The Law: Oral and Written) which is 1/2 hour long.

Homeless Backpacks for Rhode Island

Mishkahn David supports a faith-based ministry to the Rhode Island homeless, called Homeless Backpacks for Rhode Island. Donations can be given at the Mishkahn, and will go to the homeless through this ministry. Visit them on Facebook here.
